Kendriya Vidyalaya Bailey Road Patna was established on 01.12.1986 under the captainship of Sri R.N Jha the first Principal of this Vidyalaya. The vidyalaya functioned in a temporary building provided by the Raj Bhawan in its premises. It shifted to its own temporary building in the existing campus in April 1988.The foundation stone of the New three storey School building was laid by Sri Arjun Singh, Minister HRD and Chairman KVS on 02.12.1994. Inauguration of the new Building was done by Sri H.M Cairae IAS, and Commissioner KVS on 04.10.2000. Subsequently another New building was constructed to accommodate more sections and growing no of students.
